Frequently asked questions
What audio formats are accepted?
We accept .m4a, .wav, and .mp3 files. iPhone voice memos (M4A) work perfectly. Any phone recording app will do.
How long should the recording be?
At least 5–10 minutes of natural conversation gives the best results. Longer recordings (20–30 min) surface more patterns. There's no upper limit.
Does the other person in the recording need to consent?
Yes. Please let anyone in the recording know it will be submitted for research. The consent checkbox on the form covers both parties.
How long until I receive my report?
We aim to process and email reports within 3–5 business days. We're a small research team - volume may affect timing.
Will my recording be shared?
Never. Recordings are used only to generate your personal report and (with your consent) to improve the underlying research. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
